Marc Bouwer closes fashion week with a futuristic show
In a virtual fashion show featuring model Candice Swanepoel, Marc Bouwer closed out New York fashion week at Leo Kesting Gallery in The Meat Packing District. The gallery is an intimate split-level space that has a sophisticated, bohemian vibe and his virtual video fashion presentation only added to the feel. Monitors mix with art pieces, which mix with beautiful people and the designer himself mingled about the room.
Marc’s fall 2010 show is a high-tech, dreamy scene in which beautiful Candice moves through a mirror-like space-age set again and again. The collection is sexy with attitude. Dresses are structured with strong shoulders and flashes of shimmer and bronze add a touch of futuristic glamour to the mix. Marc makes beautiful clothing and his fall 2010 collection is no exception.
