The Pop-Up Shop Decadestwo.1 hits Chicago
Space519 at 900 North Michigan Shops (Level 5) will be hosting a decadestwo.1 pop-up shop (21st century designer consignment) with Christos Garkinos and Cameron Silver.
Saturday, April 2 from 10 am – 7 pm
Sunday, April 3, noon – 6 pm.
In 1999, Cameron Silver partnered with style connoisseur Christos Garkinos to establish the Hollywood-based consignment boutique Decadestwo.1 as a complement to vintage couture shop Decades. Now known as decadestwo.the brand offers carefully-edited luxury goods mostly from the present day including iconic designers including Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, Chloé and Marc Jacobs, as well as cutting-edge, emerging designers like Alexander Wang and Rick Owens. The pre-loved goods, sold at up to 80% off retail, are sourced from the closets of Garkinos’ personal circle of celebrity, stylist and fashionista friends, including Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron, Rachel Zoe, among others.
NOTE: this is a decadestwo.1 pop-up event (the merchandise is not “vintage” so as not to confuse it with the Decades name, which does offer true vintage), with a few select pieces from Decades included in the pop-up.
