We discover a summer base that really goes the distance

It’s every girl’s nightmare – you start the day with your makeup and hair looking near-perfect, only to step outside into the summer heat and suffer meltdown moments later. That’s why it’s crucial to find a foundation that can go the distance. So when we recently discovered Lancome’s Teint Idole Fresh Wear (just as temperatures were hitting the mid 90s) we knew the search was up. This clever multi-tasking foundation promises 18 hours of shine-free, flawless skin. It gives lightweight but moderate coverage, minimizes the look of pores and has SPF 15. But does it live up to the hype? In a word: yes. It’s one of the best summer foundations we have found to date, the formula goes on sheer yet covers a multitude of imperfections and it really does last. We put it to the test with a long day at the office, a 5-mile walk and a late-night dinner date. It stayed on throughout and we didn’t need to reapply once. Plus we love that it comes in 17 shades and is fragrance- and oil-free. At last, we can enjoy summer and look great too!
