We pucker up and save the planet!

In honor of National Earth Day (April 22), I’m feeling a little green, even when it comes to my beauty routine. That’s why I’m loving Tarte’s new LipSurgence natural lip stains right now. Formulated without parabens, dyes, synthetic fragrance or other not-so healthy ingredients, these gel stains feature a blend of plant bio-nutrients and Tarte’s exclusive technology that effectively moisturizes and makes lips appear fuller.

I have to admit, feeling green isn’t the only reason these have replaced my go-to lip gloss. The chunky crayon like tip makes it easy to color in between the lines and I love that they feel like a lipstick, balm, gloss and stain all powered into one. With a quick sweep, my lips are hydrated, have a long-lasting burst of color, and the best part—they feature peppermint oil, so I feel like I’ve popped a mint in my mouth (minus the calories!). The six different shades (Moody, Amused, Lust, Enchanted, Charmed and Joy) give me plenty of variety, whether I’m feeling green—or not!

Why does it taste so nasty? I'd like it much better if it tasted minty or no taste but it is horrible tasting.
